K this is to help people to tell between stuff.

General Rarity Types normally obtained from boxes:

Rare - Silver Lettering on Name of card
Super Rare - Holo background of the picture of card, black colour writing of name.
Ultra Rare - Gold writing and holo background of pic
Ultimate Rare - 'Embossed' look, ' you can feel the lines on the picture of the card, stars and attribute sign are also embossed. With newer ultimates the box containing description and whole boarder of card are also embossed.
Secret Rare - Diagonal sparkly lines across card, name of card is also sparkly.
Ghost Rare - Usually appears to be a white picture as if there is no picture, under certain angles of light the picture can be seen with a 3D effect, when white it gives a 'ghost effect' hence the name.

Others:
Gold rare - Gold writing as well as gold boarder on card and picture boarder, pic is holo. (Obtained from Gold Series Packs)
Parallel rare - Criss-cross holo lines across card. (Obtained usually from hobby league)
Duel Terminal - Dotted holo parts all over card, also has ultra and super rare types with same qualities but is a duel terminal card due to the dotted holo parts. (Obtained only from duel terminals)

Editions:
1st Edition - The first release of a set. Has the 1st edition sign left and below the picture.
Unlimited - The first edition sign is not present.
Limited - It says where the first edition sign would be, 'Limited Edition.' (Normally the are promo cards obtained from tins, special editions and magazines)

Value of cards can vary sometimes a super rare can be worth more than an ultra. For ratios they vary from each set. But from the general series since Duelist Genesis there has been a rare in every pack.

Ultra Rare > Ultimate Rar

Your More likely to pull an Ulti, than pulling an Ultra.

Depends, although ultras are more common than ulti's, ultimate rares value higher than the ultra versions all the time. I like ulti's personally they look pretty awesome to me.

Where is this rarity guide? on the back of packs? or an official one as i know ratios vary between certain eras of sets. Sorry i really want to know properly. As otherwise that means i am getting good odds.
